Amazon built a UV light emitting robot specially designed to kill coronavirus in warehouses and food stores

Researchers at Colombia University are testing effectiveness of UV rays on Coronavirus

The robot looks like a hotel luggage cart

Their are 10 ultra voilet tube lights in the robot

The UV light emitted by robot is used to kill virus on surfaces, such as foods, packaging, and door handles

Kristen Kish, spokesperson of Amazon said that " our robotics group in particular has become an R & D lab for covid innovation ".

According to New York Times, the average cost of implementing a average size walmart store with UV light is around $100,000

The roving robot of Amazon is a lower cost solution to be used as disinfecting.
