The third seed lost 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 despite being the favourite to win the match coming into the final.
The 23-year-old Rybakina won her first Grand Slam title and made history by becoming the first Kazakh to take home a major.
Even though Jabeur was obviously sad with herself after losing, she stayed positive while speaking with Sue Barker on the court.
She chuckled, "I mean Elena stole my title, but it's okay. "I genuinely feel incredibly sad because I love this event so dearly, but tennis only has one winner.
